Recently had the pleasure of not only capturing Marin’s Senior Portraits but also many with her Family too who came along for her shoot. To say this family was an absolute delight to work with would be an understatement. So fun. Note her sweet maroon Dr Martens too. I think she may have been born in the wrong decade – such an adorable late 80’s/early 90’s vibe like she could have stepped right of the set of a John Hughes film. Intimate Cape Elizabeth Maine Wedding ~ Celebrating Seana and Dave

What do you do when a Nor’easter hits on your wedding day? Grab some umbrellas and have fun in the rain and wind! If you look closely in the images of our attempt at a first look you can see the sideways rain pouring down. It was absolutely nuts. But, and I think all would agree, totally worth it. I don’t think any of us would have changed a thing. It was the perfect way to kick off the day celebrating the love and nuptials of two dear friends, Seana + Dave. Their intimate wedding at quaint Sprague Hall in Cape Elizabeth, Maine with close family and friends was a DIY wedding day dream. As the wind rattled the windows outside, the warmth from the love of all inside radiated into the night. From the handmade altar and gorgeous table settings to the breathtaking song sung by a close friend and the Veuve champagne toast, it was a delight to be the one to capture and document this special day. Here’s a few highlights!

Salem Wedding at Hamilton Hall ~ Laura and John Sneak Peeks

Sharing a few sneak peeks from Laura and John’s perfect wedding day in Salem, MA yesterday. After last weekend’s Nor’easter in Maine, the forecast wasn’t looking much better with rain and high wide advisories in effect. But, as we drove from the bride’s Mom’s place in Ipswich where she got ready with her bridesmaids over to the Salem venue, the dramatic downpours magically stopped and blue skies opened up for the rest of the afternoon. It really could not have been a more gorgeous Fall day for a New England wedding. It is always an honor to capture and tell the story of two people not only tying the knot but also sharing all the love with their family and friends. Congratulations Laura and John!

Boston Head Shot Photographer ~ Creative Session on Plum Island

I don’t have the actual stats but if I had to guess, I’d estimate that 95% of people don’t look forward to getting their Head Shots done. But the good news is if you book a professional photographer who not only knows lighting and posing but also how to put you at ease you will not only love the results but just might even have a bit of fun during the whole experience too. Head Shots are one of my studio’s specialities and I genuinely love not only capturing the essence of every person who steps in front of my lens but also the reaction of clients when they see their portraits. Here’s just a couple of recent reactions:
