Last night Rebecca Corry brought her comedy and passion for Pit Bulls and the fight to end the stigmas and BSL to Boston. The sold out (weeks in advance!) Stand Up for Pits event at Laugh Boston was a hit on all counts – thousands raised and donated. KLP donated a $350 Gift Certificate to the silent auction that went for $250 and was split up for both the local pit rescues PittieLove Rescue + The Pittie Stop Rescue. Each had a couple of adoptable dogs in attendance and are shown in a few highlights below. Shout out to Laugh Boston for hosting the event and to the other hilarious Boston comics (Christine Hurley) who donated their time for the cause. Bonus for me: hanging with the Last Hope K9 Dream Team for a night full of laughter and tears. But mostly laughter. If you missed this year’s event, they will be back next year and with two shows on the roster. Next stop: Detroit + Chicago so let your pibble lovin’ peeps in the Midwest know!
