Newburyport Engagement Photographer ~ Niki and Joe at the American Yacht Club in NBPT

When Niki and Joe called me about capturing their engagement photos this summer, they were getting ready to celebrate not only their first year together but also their new boat being christened “Reising Tide” – which is a clever play on Niki’s last name (Reisert.)

We booked the session for a mid June evening at the American Yacht Club where we first walked the property and a bit of the Newburyport Rail Trail before jumping on the boat for a perfectly timed sunset cruise. When I found out Joe’s dad was also out on the water, I asked if he’d come get me so I could also photograph them from off the boat too. We ended the night popping a bottle of champagne (don’t miss the flying cork!) and a final silhouette sunset walk down the pier. Perfection on all counts.
