Our On Location Outdoor Portrait Sessions are always an adventure. You never know what Nature has in store whether it’s annoying biting flies or a passing shower that delivers a gorgeous rainbow (both of these checked off this Summer!) On this recent shoot with Lucy from Newburyport High School out at Sandy Point we had an incoming tide and I sent her out on some large rocks so we could catch the small waves coming in around her. And then a rogue wave struck out of nowhere! We both got pretty soaked. Thankfully we were at the end of her first outfit and her long red hair looked stunning wet in the back at first and then quickly dried as we continued on to outfits number two and three. All of this including the hazy sun from Northern wild fires as the sunset made this shoot one of my favorites of the season.
