One of my favorite parts of shooting Weddings is the Bride getting ready including all the details and the time we take to do her Bridal Portraits. So this recent KLP wedding was a double bonus – two brides! Nikki + Megan tied the knot recently on a picturesque private residence in South Orleans on Cape Cod. The forecasts leading up to the big day were ominous at best. But we all keep our fingers crossed and, although Mother Nature did deliver a very humid and windy afternoon and evening, she managed to mercifully hold off on the torrential rains most of the rest of the state endured. So we lucked out. The moon even made a few brief appearances as the clouds whizzed by as night fell. It was intimate. It was sweet. And in the end it was so much fun as the poolside dance floor was hopping until the wee hours of the night. Here’s a few highlights from the story of their day including their “First Look” down by the pier with the cutest four legged ring bearer, Sammy, by their side. Congrats to the beautiful brides!
