Wedding Proposal Provincetown ~ Ally and Dave at the Breakwater

This recent proposal in Ptown was perfect on all counts. Not only did we have a gorgeous summer night out in the West End at the Breakwater for Dave to asked Ally to marry him, but the new bride to be is also my (only!) little sister. I didn’t have to hide out on this proposal shoot because we billed it as a “hike” together out to Long Point before sunset. Thankfully Ally is pretty clueless when it comes to things like this so she wasn’t the least bit suspect when I packed up lots of gear and grabbed a bottle of champagne with proper glasses – “I’ll shoot the sunset and, well, it’s so beautiful there so we can then sit on the rocks and have some bubbles too as the sun sets.” She bought it. And when earlier in the afternoon she declared “I’m just going to go in my yoga pants and not bother putting makeup on” I insisted that she reconsider because we’d probably “go out for a drink or two after.” Again, no idea. It was such a pleasure to capture these moments. Can’t wait for the big day! Love you both. xx
