Boston Pet Photographer ~ Spring Session at Paul Revere Park Boston

Ahhh, Sweet Spring popping into full bloom in Boston and beyond. Is there anything better after (barely) surviving another New England winter? Since it’s Peak Daffodil Season, we decided to head into Paul Revere Park for this recent session with my photo bestie Darlene of Pant the Town Photography and her adorable four year old husky Halo.

I’ve always loved this spot because it offers so many views of iconic Boston – the Zakim Bridge, the Gah-den (said with proper Beantown accent, please) and the Converse building. I’m obsessed with all the urban architecture and lines throughout the whole area. And, for the first time ever (!!!), we ventured over the North Bank Pedestrian Bridge over to North Point Park which was another dream spot with the Duck Boats plunging into the Charles River and view of the Prudential in the fog. Bonus was a gorgeous magnolia tree coming into bloom too. Spring symbolizes new beginnings so it was also the perfect time and place to capture the unconditional love and connection of this bonded duo together too.

And, the milder Spring temps are always more suitable for sessions with dogs than the Summer months which are now generally too hot for them to be safe and comfortable. A note from Darlene’s newsletter post her session is an important reminder for us all:

“Yesterday Halo and I had photos taken together and it reminded me of something I tell my clients all the time … There is never a “perfect” or “right” time. There is just now – and it matters. Don’t wait. Do the photos.”

She’s spot on. So, like so many of my own clients who dread being in front of the camera, I’m currently preparing this weekend for my session with my dog Liesl booked for this Tuesday with Darlene! Stay tuned … 😉
