What happens when you combine the gorgeous setting and wines of Mill River Winery and a stunning sunset out at Sandy Point on Plum Island? Quite possibly the best North Shore Summer Engagement Session ever. I had the idea for this session awhile back and was delighted when I suggested it to soon-to-be-wed Krystle + Chris and they loved the idea too. We met last Friday evening at the winery where they started with a tasting of five different wines. If you haven’t been to MRW, put it on your list of things to do North of Boston. It’s a beautiful space and the staff is always so knowledgeable and accommodating. After some photos in the vineyard, we grabbed a bottle of their Plum Island Red and two MRW glasses and headed out to the beach. Aside from the swarm of pesky little flies out there, we had a a blast. Engagement sessions like these are really so much fun. They allow couples to get to know their photographer so they trust and feel comfortable around the camera. And they also capture some more casual and informal photographs than those on the big wedding day.

Love, the eyes.
I raise the glass to my mouth,
I look at you, I sigh.”
~ W.B. Yeats
