It was a beautiful albeit chilly day in the Port today. And a perfect one for Last Hope K9 Rescue’s Adoption event at Just Dogs on Pleasant Street. Until I can rescue my own dog (or two), I try to do what I can to help find forever homes for those who so desperately need and deserve them. So meet these five little Loves. Seriously. They were all so sweet and fun to photograph. And I soooo hope these photos help showcase how truly lovely (and lovable!) they are.
First Up: MAJOR who is about 1.5 years and a Pit Mix. Those eyes! And big shout out to Cheryl over at Ivy Lane who was so kind to let us use her tin bin to put him in for the perfect portrait.
Outtake from Last Hope K9 Rescue Volunteer getting Major into the bin! 🙂
Next up: BLYNKEN who is a Five Month Old Black Lab Mix with the softest fur and the warmest disposition.
Now meet MAGNUM: a One Year Old Shar Pei Mix. Another doll. So well behaved.
And here’s sweet little VESPERA or “V” as she is affectionately called. She decided to chill at the cafe next door for her close ups.
Last but not least is the very handsome and lovable CROSS. He’s a 2-3 year old Mastiff/Lab Mix.
Did any one of them win your heart over yet? If so, please contact the Rescue by email: adoptions@lasthopek9.org
Big thanks to Alice and all the volunteers from Last Hope K9! And to Rob who kindly assisted me with a big diffuser as we ran around the block looking for the best spots to shoot. You guys ROCK!
Please SHARE and/or LIKE if you do. Let’s get these pups adopted!
