It was a bitter cold day out in Newburyport but all the sweet little Last Hope K9 Rescue dogs rallied for their close ups to help get them adopted. This is the third LHK9 event that KLP has photographed at Just Dogs and, as usual, all of the dogs were absolute gems. I don’t think one tail stopped wagging the entire time they were there. If you’re interested in adopting, fill out an application here. The event was called Home for the Holidays so here’s to hoping they all find their forever homes soon!

Here’s Crystal Blue with LHK9 Rock Star Volunteer Jill at the event. She’s a one year old Catahoula Leopard Mix and is about 35 pounds. Below she is also photographed with her foster sisters, Lane and Claire, whom she adores. Those eyes. Crazy. <3
Meet Pin. Another sweetheart. She’s a 14 pound, 1 year old Min Pin Mix. She’s photographed here too with Sam from Last Hope K9. They both braved the blustery day to get some nice portraits. Even in her cute little sweater we had to be quick with this one as she’s just a little peanut.
Okay. So I loved ALL the dogs today but this little guy is a real heartbreaker. This is Palmer. He is absolute LOVE BUG. And so soft. He’s a lab/border collie/shepherd mix and about a year old. A perfect mutt! UPDATE: ADOPTED 11/24
As always big Thank You’s to Alice, Jill and all the kind volunteers who love, foster and donate endless hours to help place each dog. You are an inspiration.
Thanks too to the lovely ladies at Ivy Lane and Alikat for providing the beautiful backdrops for the pup portraits too.
And as always to Judy and the staff at Just Dogs who regularly hosts these adoption events.
