KLP was delighted to once again photograph some of the adorable dogs up for adoption at Last Hope K9 Rescue yesterday in Portsmouth, NH. Canine Cupboard kindly hosted the event and by the time I arrived to shoot their portraits, two out of the three had already had deposits placed! I still photographed all of them (so darn cute!) but am going to highlight here first the handsome fellow who still hasn’t found his forever home. Hershey is about a year old and is a lab mix. I am confident as soon as someone sees his portraits that he will be scooped up soon. I mean, really. Look at those precious little white paws. He is SUCH a love.
Here is sweet and chill little Queen Elizabeth. Please check out her little tongue that hangs out of the side of her mouth. The family who is in the process of adopting here drove three hours all the way from Orleans, MA to meet her and make a deposit. Yay Queenie! (Sidenote: I totally wanted to bedazzle her 80’s denim vest she was rockin’) 😉
And Nelson also seems to have found his forever home too with a lovely couple who recently lost one of their dogs. He is super soft and was just so friendly. Yay Nelson!
Remember Adopt Don’t Shop! When you rescue one dog you are really rescuing two as there is space in a shelter or foster home for another dog that needs it.
Thanks to the LHK9 crew and volunteers and Canine Cupboard for generously hosting this event. Hope to see you all again soon!
