What a wonderful way to spend an 80 degree day in downtown Newburyport. Always a treat to be at Just Dogs for their Last Hope K9 Adoption Events. Only two dogs this weekend because the others scheduled had already gotten contracts! Yahoo! Now it’s these two lovely ladies turn to be scooped up. First is two year old Tuxie whose one of the most adorable pit mix pups that I’ve met. If you are looking for a super sweet girl who will shower you with kisses then look no further. #smitten

Our second lovely lady of the day is Sally who is about one year old and a gorgeous hound mix. As you can see here, her brindle coat and markings are stunning. She’s quite shy and was a bit overwhelmed by everything going on so I captured her during some chill moments as she relaxed in a quiet space away from the crowded streets.

Today (April 30th!) is National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day – a day to raise awareness about all of the animals who are waiting to find their furever homes. To learn more about Tuxie and Sally and/or to see more dogs available from LHK9, click here.
