It had been too long since I’d be able to coordinate my crazy schedule and covered a Last Hope K9 Event. With a second shoulder surgery behind me this past January (Yay!) and a new dream studio in the works opening in May (Yay!), 2017 is whizzing by at an unprecedented rate. But the stars in the iCal finally aligned and I was so looking forward to their Mystic Brewery event this past Sunday. This is the second time I’ve photographed for them there and love the space. Here’s a few highlights of the five adorable dogs that attended who are currently looking for their new furever homes.
First up is Hoggie Marsh Puppet (his real name!) whose a 1.5 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix. What a sweet boy! I could have photographed this guy all day long (as you can see here …)
Next is Tucson whose also about 1.5 years old and is a handsome Pit and Bull Dog Mix. That face. He is a absolute charmer.
Gorgeous Moo Shu! That crinkly little Shar Pei mix face! He’s also about 1.5 years old and has an endless supply of energy.
Weighing in at only 6lbs is Sassafras whose a Min Pin mix (maybe some chihuahua too?) Had fun posing her with the backdrop of the bar and beers. So chill and photogenic.
Last is sweet and shy little Weylyn. She’s great with other dogs and loves the dog park but is quite shy still with people. Her Foster Mom Sara said she was adjusting well and getting better every day. She wasn’t a huge fan of my camera but I think we still managed to get some beautiful portraits of this gorgeous girl.
