Friday night was an extra special night for Sam and Maggie who got engaged at the Newburyport Lighthouse. This is *THE* most magical place in New England to propose and we had a stunner of an evening to capture it all.

We timed it perfectly with the sunset from Sam popping the question and then me heading up into the lighthouse (which is always fun with the light and reflections) to then hitting the waterfront boardwalk as the blue hour set in and we wrapped. Added bonus: Sam had his parents and Maggie’s Mom hiding at the bottom with their dog Bastion as another surprise. Here are few sneak peeks from their beautiful engagement story.

Note: when you book an evening spot at the lighthouse you get it for five hours so there is plenty of time for a shoot and to have the place to yourself to enjoy dinner and the stunning views.
