Two things: 1) I love seeing that although many schools require High School Seniors to get their Yearbook Photos at a specific studio, that nowadays so many teens and parents are realizing that booking a personal full photo shoot is the ultimate way to capture each one at this milestone time in their lives. Our Senior Shoots are 1.5 hours On Location. Seem like a lot? It’s not. Getting those images that truly capture a person takes time. Add it some Hair + Makeup fun pre shoot for the girls and outfit changes for a variety of looks and, well, you get a shoot like this one here. Which brings me to my second declaration of the day which is showcasing how wonderful it is to be shooting year round. Yes, Summer we get the warm beach scene and the leaves of Fall are certainly famous here in New England; however, I am currently loving/obsessed with Winter Shoots and the gorgeous empty trees as backdrops, warm clothes (fur hoodies, scarves and sweaters!) and even snow. Really the time to book a session whether Senior, Family or Pet Portraits ultimately depends on what resonates with you and your lifestyle. More good news: we nail that down in your complimentary consult session to be sure that whichever season we choose it works for you.
UPDATED DATES: Paging the Class of 2018! Are you currently or do you know a Junior in High School right now? We’ve got a Complimentary Shoot for our Spokesmodels in Newburyport on 3/26/17 and one in Southern Maine (Portland or Kennebunk with Date + Time TBD.) Get a taste of what the KLP Experience is all about with 10 minutes of shooting, your own custom APP with five images and $100 credit towards your Senior Session if you book with KLP in June or July of 2017. Don’t let the word “model” fool you either. We are looking for all girls and boys! The only requirement is that you are super fun and are psyched to be apart of the shoot.
