Hard to believe I arrived back in Seattle just over a week ago. I have since photographed seven Family Portrait Sessions (one more to go!) and one Beauty + Bubbles Portrait Session (in a gorgeous rented studio so stay tuned for that fun blog!) Talk about a photography marathon. Crazy but loving every second of it. And it all began with this family here. I first met Alecia whose originally from Seattle over fifteen years ago when she was living in the Boston area. We have been friends ever since and, when she moved back with her husband to the West Coast over a decade ago, I began visiting when I was traveling back through the US on my many trips around the world. I’ve loved Seattle since those first days here. And that love has only continued to grow as her family has too. I’ve been photographing her twin girls since they were babies on both coasts. Thus the KLP connection in Seattle began. This is my 4th KLP Portrait Tour here and it’s been better than ever. I’ve decided to not only continue the Fall Family Portraits here but also add Spring Beauty + Bubbles as well to the “KLP on the Road” Roster. Very exciting stuff. In the meantime, enjoy some highlights from their session down at the always picturesque Innis Arden Reserve on Puget Sound. We had the perfect night with the most beautiful sunset on the Olympic Mountain range and I’ve included a couple of those photographs at the end here as well.
