A belated Happy New Year to all! The night before New Year’s Eve, I headed up with friends to Boothbay Harbor, Maine to check out the Gardens Aglow at the Botanical Gardens. Being in Maine for the New Year has become a tradition and, although I do prefer it more in those warm summer months, it was worth braving the cold and the crowds to check out this spectacular holiday display of color and light. I was (sadly) without my tripod but cranked up the ISO and had fun with the vibrancy that abounded. If you are a New Englander, definitely something to add to the To Do List. Tip: Bring a flask with some Hot Toddies to keep you warm throughout the evening.
