KLP has teamed up with the Last Hope K9 Rescue Foster Program this Spring to highlight some of their long term foster pups who need a little extra TLC and help in finding them their final furever homes. I’m donating individual one-on-one sessions with each dog with their foster parent/s so the world can see just how special each one of them is and they have the chance to truly shine. First up is three year old Santini with her foster Momma Melissa. We met at one of my favorite local spots – Lynch Park in Beverly – for the diverse backdrops of beaches and brick gardens.
Of course I loved her immediately as she instantly greeted me with smiles and kisses. As her foster Mom says, she’s loaded with “good energy” and is a “fantastic companion who enjoys to walk and play.” She’s got some pretty impressive jumping skills too. (See our recent @larougephoto IG post and stories for more of that!)
Here’s a bit more about her from the LHK9’s website:
“Santini is a fantastic girl looking for a home where she can be queen of the castle with a furever family that loves her as much as she does them!
This lady has got it all – She has excellent manners and is house-trained, so crating is optional. She enjoys car rides, tug of war and does great on a leash with a prong collar. Santini would love to keep learning new commands, and is happy to fit into her human(s)’ routine, including plenty of couch snuggling time. She’s a true people pleaser, and also a good communicator, so she’ll let you know what she needs in her own sweet way.
Because she wants so badly to make her humans happy, Santini would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who can establish and maintain clear, consistent boundaries and expectations – she finds this very reassuring, and it helps her to be her best pup self.”
